    Hi gang

Well I can't believe it tonight - after all the bad work I have done this week I have managed to loose 1lb:confused: Mind you I am happy down is good, but I am gonna be extra careful incase this week comes back to bite me next week. I had already planned the week with a max of 6 syns a day (cause I thought I would have gained) so sticking to that should keep me ok.

Congrats to Sue and Lydia on their losses this week, and to Cheekymole for maintaining - that must be difficult as you know you are at the right weight for you and the urge to eat everything in sight must be difficult to contain.

Pug - hope your cycle went ok and you don't have sore cheeks

Good luck to everyone else this week

Hello all, reporting back after my disappointment last week.

I have followed the SW plan to the letter and am pleased to say I lost 3lbs this week. I don't know what happened last week, but shan't dwell on it - onwards and upwards (or weight downwards). That's now a total of 5lbs off, not quite as I'd hoped but it's all in the right direction.

Stay positive everyone, and stick with it.

Hello everyone. Lost 1lb this week, finally, my size 10's are nice and lose and I only have a couple of pounds to go to be a tad under my target. It is good to be back and I will not abandon SW again. Bought some new clothes today to celebrate. Got offerred a job for September, I am one happy bunny.

I tell myself that I can have whatever I want, that it is always my choice. Then I remind myself I'll be wearing it at the next meeting.

Can I ask you another quick question ;) Tonight I brough my mum along to SW and she joined. I didnt stay to class as I had DS & DD with me. Another girl brought a friend to join and she got a free pass for next week. Should I have got one or did I lose out because I was unable to stay to class

No you should have got a voucher for a free week irrespective of whether you stay toclass - ask for it next week and they should give you one.

Cathys1 You reach Club 10 when you lose 10% of your starting weight, but you have to keep it off (or lose more) for 10 weeks before you get your free week.
Congratulations, there are significant health benefits to losing 10% of your weight :T

I lost another 1lb this week, that makes 3 stone 6 1/2 pounds so far. Hopefully I should get my 3 1/2 stone award next week.

I got asked to help out today, sitting taking the money. Did I hear somewhere that if you are one of the helpers that you don't have to pay? Or did I imagine it? Anyway, it will mean that I will have to stay, even if I put weight on! lol

This is strictly down to the Consultant since we have to account for the money for every member (except Target members). However, my social committee (to give them their posh title :rotfl: ) only pay £2.50 a week each, since I am so grateful for their help.

I got my years old bike out before and hosed it down, pumped up the tyres and that. Just working myself up to go out on it now, isn't it daft I find the older I get the more of a scaredy cat I am!

    Now where's the stabilisers...

    :rotfl: :rotfl:

I know what you mean though, I'm terrified of going on the roads on a bike. I've got an exercise bike in the bedroom - scenery's not as good, but I don't get buzzed by articulated wagons and boy-racers doing 80mph within 2 feet of me!!

    Excellent, good for you :T

Forget last week, only look forward and keep an image of you as you want to be in the forefront of your mind - you will get there.

    Hi all

Fantastic weight losses today - well done Cheekymole (for remaining at target), Lydia, Marjorie, and Sue :T

I feel like I should do an impression of a fish today, having had fish at lunchtime and again for dinner. Went to Ikea for lunch, just for a change - they have a great salad bar where you can fill a plate for £1.85, and there were herrings included in the price. Smoked haddock for dinner with mashed sweet potatoes and butternut squash and lots of veggies.

I'm feeling less hungry now, so either my stomach is shrinking, or the low GI really does work - the idea of low GI foods is that the energy they provide is supposed to be slow release, therefore giving you longer periods before the hunger starts to kick in. I find I'm not even snacking on fruit as much as I used to - I got into the habit of filling up with fruit on SW as it's free, but fruit is limited on RC, so I've cut out my daily banana altogether, and have a pear mid morning and an apple mid afternoon, if I feel like I need it.

Keep up the good work everyone! :)
