Jen that is an amazing amount you ahve lost good on you I had to laugh when you said about your trousers dropping off, must be a great excuse to buy new ones. By the way don't know if you are an Ebay addict but larger size clothes sells really well on there as many ladies don't like buying clothes in the shops and they are hard to get. I sold all my old size 16 clothes when I lost weight last time (I have stayed 14 since phew) and got some nice money back to treat myself. Had to laugh at a thank you mail I got from a buyer of my lime green suit -- thank for the suit it fits perfectly although lime green is not really my colour is it very nice. Regards Tom---- Well it takes all sorts.
Honey you scare me with your little sins, I always nick chips of DH plate or so guess I really must stop that.
Suggs you haven't been to the gym again... I did manage to go yesterday for 2 horus and I feel it today. Well done mate with the salad makes you feel good. I had last nights stew for lunch as I am out tonight.

A few of you mention the Rosemary Connelly Dvd - which one is it?
  • Thanks to everyone for their support and encouragement - I know I've come to the right place now and look forward to being part of this forum.
    Thanks again
BTW - had a good day today so far and will be swimming in the club for the first time tonight too - so if you don't hear from me tomorrow it's because I'm so stiff and achy I can't get to the PC!!!

Don't worry, Annie, swimming has the advantage that you can do a lot of exercise and still skip the pins and needles.

About my weekend planning? Mixed nuts. I had a strange week and then a BBQ, but tried to be good the rest of the time. I didn't plan properly though and that reflects on my fridge being empty at the moment which is bad. It should be full of vegetables and other free foods.
It has helped me to detect some things I need to do for success though:
    -I must plan my meals
-I must make sure I do the shopping I need in order to be able to follow the plan to a tee
-I must keep a record of the meals I enjoy most (the free or low-syn ones, I mean) to have them in mind whenever I fancy... food.
-I must avoid the shelf where they put those cheese biscuits
-I must kill the guy that wrote that commercial that says "I like to be a woman! La la la..."
Oh well, guess who is in the Kill for Chocolate Once a Month club. This month the feeling lasted too long! I've kept away from the chocolate... but not from the cheese biscuits.
    I want cheese biscuits.
I'm going to have another serving of the chicken casserole I've made instead.

After, like, 6 weeks at the same weight I have finally had a loss and a really great loss!! 3.5lbs!

    Thank goodness.

    Hurrah for the planning
    Hurrah for the weighing
Hurrah for the skipping bread for a week

Must keep it up (am celebrating with chips and cheese :D)

Just feeling really smug as for my morning snack (working at home so dead bored) I had 1 carrot & 1 celery stick dipped in fat free fromage frais mixed with herbs and spices. Is that a good choice or am I kidding myself. It was very nice.

That sounds very healthy and :A to me - in fact I'm just wondering if I've got celery and fromage frais in the fridge... :D
