Morning all, another sunny day here in the South and a new week to start a fresh. Just done my weigh in back down to 11.11 so 1lb lost which I put on last week. Will be a busy week for me, two evening meetings but at least that gives me the day to catch up on paperwork and not a lot of driving this week. I hope you will all have a good week look forward to seeing Lois 2lb club stats later on.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Good morning all
What a gorgeoud day it is again - sod's law how the weather changes when the main holiday season is over isn't it!
Well, been rather busy over the weekend so not had time to be on the 'puter much and I seem to have missed a lot. Well done to all those with weight losses and fingers crossed to those with weigh-ins later in the week.
How are the results of the weekend planning for those who were joining in (Madauri, Moira, Honey & JenI, to name a few)??? Did you succeed where you may previously have succumbed to temptation?
Basically, did it work for you??
Just come back from dropping my son and his fiancee off at Manchester airport. They're off to Jamaica for a fortnight, lucky things. It always seems very cruel to me when I drop people off at airports and have to turn round and come home. If I had pots of money I'd love to do nothing but travel. I really envy those of you who travel with your job, though I know it's work and not just fun - it must be lovely to see so many places.
Anyway I'm feeling disgruntled and cheesed off at the moment, then I've got to go to work in an hour so that's not helping (can't find a smiley for p***ed off!!!)
This made me laugh, they are actual answers from a children's science exam:-
Q: Name the four seasons.
A: Salt, pepper, mustard and vinegar.
Q: Explain one of the processes by which water can be made safe to drink.
A: Flirtation makes water safe to drink because it removes large pollutants like grit, sand, dead sheep and canoeists.
Q: How is dew formed?
A: The sun shines down on the leaves and makes them perspire.
Q: How can you delay milk turning sour?
A: Keep it in the cow.
Q: What causes the tides in the oceans?
A: The tides are a fight between the Earth and the Moon. All water tends to flow towards the moon, because there is no water on the moon, and nature hates a vacuum. I forget where the sun joins in this fight.
Q: What are steroids?
A: Things for keeping carpets still on the stairs.
Q: What happens to your body as you age?
A: When you get old, so do your bowels and you get intercontinental.
Q: What happens to a boy when he reaches puberty?
A: He says good-bye to his boyhood and looks forward to his adultery.
Q: Name a major disease associated with cigarettes.
A: Premature death.
Q: What is artificial insemination?
A: When the farmer does it to the bull instead of the cow
Q: How are the main parts of the body categorized? (e.g., abdomen.)
A: The body is consisted into three parts- the brainium, the borax, and the abdominal cavity. The brainium contains the brain; the borax contains the heart and lungs, and the abdominal cavity contains the five bowels, A, E, I, O, and U.
Q: What is the fibula?
A: A small lie.
Q: What does "varicose" mean?
A: Nearby.
Q: Give the meaning of the term "Caesarean section"
A: The Caesarean Section is a district in Rome.
Q: What does the word "benign" mean?'
A: Benign is what you will be after you be eight

Lol COnsultant, that made me giggle!
Well, weigh in this morning got me even more confused so here's the numbers (hangs head in shame):
At the time of my first post here, 1 month ago, I was 15 stone 4lb.
Today I am 14 stone 11lb.
I am a bad girl and weigh myself far too often so I get confused with the weekly 2lb thing so I think I am going to have to hide the scales somewhere because I do get down about my fluctuations. I have gained 1lb in the last 48 hours - so this makes me sad, even though I have eaten rubbish and I have my period so am like a small whale. MUST HIDE THEM.
So, sorry Lois, I'm not sure exactly what I have lost this week. But now it's in black and white. Eek, it's bad enough knowing how huge I am myself without other people knowing ... *cringe*.
On the plus side, I am addicted to Rosemary and her skinny bounciness. Am managing 20 minuted a day!0 -

I have to hold my hands up and confess that I did no planning at all. In fact I have spent the entire weekend eating chocolate biscuits. Had several "must have chocolate or I am going to turn into physcho bi**c from hell" moments. Hopefully some of you out there can relate to that - please tell me I'm not the only mad one :A I was a bit down in the dumps at the weekend - no excuse for eating a whole packet of breakaways though(not in one go I should quickly add!)
Anyway the mood has passed and I am back on form today. Weigh in is tonight - tempted not to go but will do so to see what damage I have done.
Note to self: Planning - something I must do when OH is on nightshift at weekends and kids are doing my head in :rotfl:
Sorry folks, will try harder this coming week.0 -
Honey, I can TOTALLY relate to that, have you tried evening primrose? I take 1000mg daily and it really does help.
Good luck tonight girlI haven't got one!0 -
Me thinks me might need 1000mg per hour!!0

Oh, I get those a lot. Particularly when I'm in work, if everything breaks down, or if the customers are a$$h0Le$!
I have a bad cold atm, it started yest (at the beginning of my 12hr shift), and got worse throughout the day, so I ate a 150g bar of Galaxy as well as the other half of the 250g bar of Dairy Milk that I bought in work when felt rough on Sat (it was supposed to last the whole week).
Well, it cheered me up for a bit anyway!
Hope it makes you and Eels feel a bit better to know you're not the only one who does things like that!0 -
or a bottle of vodka!I haven't got one!0
-
That's more like it :rotfl:
It wasnt as bad as I thought - I maintained. I need to be extra good this week though so it doesnt catch up with me on the scales next week.
If you see me near the biscuit jar give me a kicking!!0
