Lol COnsultant, that made me giggle!

Well, weigh in this morning got me even more confused so here's the numbers (hangs head in shame):
At the time of my first post here, 1 month ago, I was 15 stone 4lb.
    Today I am 14 stone 11lb.

I am a bad girl and weigh myself far too often so I get confused with the weekly 2lb thing so I think I am going to have to hide the scales somewhere because I do get down about my fluctuations. I have gained 1lb in the last 48 hours - so this makes me sad, even though I have eaten rubbish and I have my period so am like a small whale. MUST HIDE THEM.

So, sorry Lois, I'm not sure exactly what I have lost this week. But now it's in black and white. Eek, it's bad enough knowing how huge I am myself without other people knowing ... *cringe*.

On the plus side, I am addicted to Rosemary and her skinny bounciness. Am managing 20 minuted a day!

Puts on stern face and wags finger at Eels: STOP beating yourself up! You've lost 7 pounds, which you should be proud of. You're not 'huge', and you're doing something positive to improve your diet and fitness! :T

I've shown you as maintaining this week, the reason being, I only had you down for a 2 pound total weight loss, but according to your starting weight and current weight, you've lost 7 pounds. (Hope that makes sense!)

    That's more like it :rotfl:

It wasnt as bad as I thought - I maintained. I need to be extra good this week though so it doesnt catch up with me on the scales next week.
If you see me near the biscuit jar give me a kicking!!

You'll be pleased to hear that last week's excellent loss is what will be showing in the chart this week then! :D Because I did the chart on Sunday, I didn't record your loss last week, so you can bask in last week's glory a little longer!

Hi all - here's the spreadsheet for this week, with a couple of new columns, for those who want a target to work towards.

I hope I've got everyone - if not, let me know.

The Slimmer of the Week award is shared between Honey and Suggs - well done to you both. :T

    Hi folks

Well slightly better today than yesterday but I did the cardinal sin of stepping on the scales to find out how much damage I had done yesterday and I have put on 2lb - I know it could just be different day/time etc but even still I feel so bad - now have 7.5lbs to loose in 5 weeks  So lots of water and fruit for me for the next 4 days lol. Think I need a really big kick up the a***e. Mind you seems from here I am not alone - maybe its something to do with the Autumn equinox and the full moon instead of dancing around naked as per the summer solstice we are compelled to eat chocolate:D

Tallgirl - well done on losing your 1lb. Hope you enjoy your break from driving.

Jenpoptab - well done for your OH - hope your weigh in went ok.

Consultant - sorry my planning was fine for friday/saturday but sunday was a wash out - more down to circumstances beyond my control than bad planning per se. However I will get back on to it tomorrow. The childrens science exam made me laugh so much.

Eels - well done 7lb in a month that is cool - congratulations to you :T

Honey - yoiu are obviously being led by the Autumn equinox too. Well done on maintaining.

Faithless - ooh Galaxy that does hit the spot when we are needing it.

Well fingers crossed we will all be doing a bit better over the next week - good to know others are in the same boat though. Have fun all.
  • Hi All
Can I join your thread please?
Have today started yet another diet but this time I really want it to work and I need your motivation to help me through it - can I rely on you????
Tried and failed many many times and need this to work before I'm too old to enjoy being thin!!! Started WW, normally do Slimming World but thought I'd try something different for a change. Has anyone had experience with WW??
    Thanks
    Annie

    Hi Annie,
Of course you can join us, we're a very friendly bunch apart from the odd kick up the backside!
There are a few on here who do WW and quite a few more on SW (I think)
So any questions to help you along, fire away and don't forget to read post 1 of this thread as it has a link to our recipe page. You can also join Lois's 2lb club to keep you motivated
    Good luck.
    I haven't got one!
  • Welcome to Annie. Can I ask how much you're looking to lose (just cause i'm nosey like that)? Lots of people I know have been successful on WW so good luck with it! (and watch out for cheekymole's boot, she may seem nice but the boot is nasty!)

Consultant: My planning has been marginally successful. Have had a few slip ups (a chinese takeaway to celebrate booking hotels and flights to Las Vegas :o) but have tried to adapt to it. My plan this week will be much better as I've been keeping an eye on where things have gone wrong.
    How's your plan going C31?

JenPop Off topic but seem to remember that you got married in the Little Chapel of Flowers. We're looking into it at the moment and think it's got to be the best option for value and lack of tackiness! Did you go into the grounds at all? I'd love to do it outside if the weather is ok but don't know much about the grounds. Am sending OH to check it out next week as he'll be in Vegas with work!

Also a big welcome to Annie good luck with the plan let us know how you get on.
Thanks Lois for the chart and welldone to Suggs and Honey for loosing so much. Reading the amounts people have lost already I am totally impressed and nice that you have added people goals. Makes mine seem really easy which belive me it is not.
Been good yesterday apart from 2 glasses of red wine. Sunday evening had lots of crips but with a low fat fromage frais dips so that wasn't too bad at least.
Jenittels is that your wedding booked then? I don't blame you for cellebrating you can finally count the days? Have you got the dress yet?.
Anyway must get one with some work, not on the road today but have an evening meeting at 7pm 1 1/2 hours away so will be late one tonight.
