Slimming world chocolate mouse is fantastic...ln fact I made it for a friends dinner party, nobody believed it was "slimming" and the kids wouldn't eat it because it was "too chocolaty" (I'm assuming you mean the mouse out of the fast food book with high quality dark chocolate in it?)

it's the fluffy one ymcas off the website that's made with options. Yours sounds better though - any chance of posting the recipe?

Aaaaaah, at last I am back on top of things.

We spent the weekend with OH's family, which was lovely, but entailed lots of nice meals out and large platefuls of his mum's cooking - lovely but bad for the old scales! Got back last night and we were both shattered and the cupboards were totally bare, so we blew out and had a chinese and a bottle of wine ...:p I savoured every mouthful though!

Had to wait til lunchtime for the Tesco order to arrive so I skipped breakfast again (I know, I know, I deserve a beating) but I did do a section of Rosemary Conley's DVD which was recommended by some of you. I am so very unfit, the warm up had me sweating! :j

I am back though and intend to keep up my good intentions with the help of you lot delivering liberal backside-bootings. OH is making noises about losing weight too (he's a bit on the porky side as well) so that's a boost for me.

JenIttels, I am LOVING the idea of sending my OH out with all the naughty things - then when it all goes wrong and I horse down seven bars of dairy milk it'll be ALL HIS FAULT! Although he tells me everything is all his fault already ... :rotfl:

Chin up fox, you're doing well to stick at things despite not getting any gratification from the scales. I'd agree with a change of regime, either dietary or try fitting in some totally different exercise - eg if you swim usually, what about walking or running? Or if you do an exercise video, try playing squash or something instead. OH and I have decided we want to go kayaking or white water rafting soon, although that's maybe a bit too different ...

Good luck everyone, keep at it! :T

    Hi all

well done to all of you on your weight losses. I have just joined slimming world and lost 3.5lbs in my 1st week. I must say as long as I can have my ww mini roll or elcair with a cup of tea in the evenings i'm happy and at the moment I'm finding this food optomising quite fun. I've been try to lose weight since 1996. I've never actually lost the last stone so I'm hoping that this is going to be it. I have a dinner & dance with my family in blackpool in 4 wks time and I had put on a bit of weight the last time I saw them. I won't have seen them for 6 wks so hopefully they'll notice the difference. I started at 10 st I'm 5"2 . my target is 9 st. I just have to keep in the right mind set.

I would love to be included in your chart please.
    HOW MUCH ?

I'm back from Prague and feeling a bit disappointed with myself. I weighed this morning at home as I missed class whilst travelling back last night, and I think I've stayed the same. However, I feel bloated and podgy and drank more than I intended to - 4 glasses of wine one night and loads of vodka and diet coke on another. Food was difficult too - tried to be controlled but went a bit berserk on one night.
I have got back straight onto my usual green day routine today and feel OK about dieting etc but am annoyed with myself for letting things slip while I was away. Hopefully, I'll have this week (until next Weds) to counteract the bad few days and get another loss - even if it's just half a lb!

The weather here is horrible too (Manchester) it hasn't stopped raining all day and makes you feel like warm winter stodgy food - dumplings and stews etc.

I'm sorry for whinging - I'll pull myself together now and get on and do something. Hopefully by tomorrow the bloat will have miraculously drained away and I'll feel better again.

    Good luck everyone
    Rachel.
  • It's raining here too
Lost 1/2lb this week which i'm quite pleased with, i suppose considering what i've eaten i should just be grateful for not putting on :p
Going to be really good this week :A cos i'd like to have a decent loss. Am determined not to slip this time.
Eels ... the weekend with OH parents was the reason i only lost 1/2 this week ... nice to see them but very bad for the diet!
    Take care all.
    Lou.
