That's very bad about the class not being where it should be. Did you get the map from SW web site? I hope you can psych yourself up again for next week - most classes are fun and friendly, but the initial walk through the door is daunting!

All the very best for your wedding. I've tried to talk my son into getting married abroad as they're both against weddings which take on a life of their own (dozens of guests turning into hundreds etc). At the end of the day, the only people who matter are the bride and groom, so ignore everybody else. I hope you have a wonderful time :)

I'm sure it was just me being dopey and not being able to find the venue (or using the wrong online map!). I'm still really looking forward to joining the class (especially as i'm armed with all your recipes!!!!) but will just directions off the consultant next week rather than rely on the internet finding the postcode!!

Thanks for your sweet words C31.

On my way to the dentist, three fillings to be re-done :( I went into Boots to stepped on the machine.

Now I had 'cheated' and checked on Tuesday evening, so I was hoping for a similar result. Gobsmacked! The theory seems to be true, for me at least, what is done last week-appears on the scales this week! lost 6lb :j dropped through a stone barrier, that leave 1 stone to go till the holiday in October.

Like I said shame about the three fillings, my mouth still hurts :o

    Hi all

I realise this post is completely off topic, but a couple of people have commented recently that they can't do links, or can't do them the way they want to, so I searched for this thread, which is where I learned how to do them.

    Hope it helps.

Thank you, I can only guess my body take 7-10 days to show what happens on the scales? and the holiday meant it took more time to adjust?

Fingers crossed the downward trend is now back and this 3 weeks of up down up down maintian is over, cause it was starting to do my head in and the head of lady suggs too! I was the one looking for reassurance!

Makes me feel bad as I had Co-op healthy living oven chips, eggs and bread last night when I got back from the gym :o

Though I really fancy making this syn free curry sauce, might just give it a go later.

Still smiling, mouth still numb though!!

    Suggs - brilliant news -
Dentist sounds ucky- think about it though - if your mouth hurts you can't eat!! (Although there's always icecream and baileys!)

Well done suggs Thats a fantastic weight loss - I was thinking the same as Rachel - if your mouth is sore you can't eat!!

I can recommend the syn free curry sauce - DH is convinced is from a jar its soo good! I used the pataks hot curry powder in it and it tastes great.

Thanks for putting the link up Lois, I've tried several times to do it, but can't -I seem to have some sort of mental block where it comes to the technical stuff :o

    Wow Suggs, what a loss :T :T
In my role as devil's advocate I might suggest a lovely, frothy milkshake ;)

I've been to Sundown Adventure Land with my daughter and 4 of her little charges today (she's a childminder). The last time I went there was when mine were small (over 20 years ago) and it's changed so much, but if anyone lives anywhere near and has never been it's a magical place. It costs £7 for each child over 2, but, goodness, they don't half get their money's worth. I'm absolutely shattered now though and am likely to sleep every bit as well as the tots we took. A really enjoyable day out :j
Having a long hot soak in the bath, followed by a very early night.
    See you all tomorrow!
