oh waily, waily, waily, the big bighag tempted me into eating too many syns today. In the meantime I'll stop talking such blethers and stop being such a mudlin cos I'm really pished.

    Translation
: Oh dear, my mum left out so many goodies today I couldn't resist and now I'm stuffed and ate too many syns. But I'll stop talking such nonsense and stop being such a useless person cos I'm really tired (at least I'm assured that's what pished means).

Sorry, couldn't resist.... I love the Nac Mac Feegle - haven't laughed so hard in ages (look like one too - apart from the tattoos):rotfl:

Well, you should know that pished means... what was that noise? What is the desk moving on its own?

    lol..... like your avatar Madauri.......

I'm short and ginger and sometimes wear kilts (well, not since I was about 7 in ninteen seventy (ahem:o)...... ) as for being blue - does being on antidepressants count?.. I'm more like the Kelda (big and round and shapeless),

hope the Nac Mac Feegle bring your keyboard back soon.....

Um... was thinking of something to add that was relevant to the thread so that they don't throw me away for disrupting behaviour

Oh yes, my Escalivada recipe, free both in red and green days:

wrap some red peppers, onions, and aubergines in foil and put them to roast in the barbecue. You can do them in the oven too.
When they are ready shred them into long thin pieces and arrange them on a large plate. Season with some olive oil and some salt. Voila!
(the oil is meant to be a healthy extra). A summer favourite! Try them on grilled toast! With anchovies! oh no, those are not free, forget about that.

As I was saying... Duh, I forgot what I wanted to say. But it was red and blue and it was not about the Barça.
    Oh, well...

Don't worry madauri - this isn't fairyland (if it was, I'd be skinny) and you haven't been fighting or pished:beer: at 2 o'clock in the afternoon so I don't think you'll be thrown out. BTW - do you think fighting counts as excercise:rotfl:?

For those of you who have no idea what we're talking about - Read 2 books by Terry Pratchett - "The Wee Free Men" and "A Hat Full of Sky" and you'll soon understand. Laughter is definitely the best medicine.

Morning all, just about to head to the golf course so thought I would be the first to post my weekly result. Actually it is 2 weeks as was away last Monday. I am now 11.11 so I assume that is 3lb from 12st. Very happy with that after the 4 days away and lots of white wine. :T

Really well done tall girl. You're so close to your target now!!!

As for delly and maduari: wish I knew what the hell you crazy people were talking about! Sounds very interesting.

Faithless and delly: I too overdid things a bit on saturday (we had to go to the pub with friends) and am trying to make up for it now. Why do we do this to ourselves!!
  • Morning All,
Well done tall girl isn't it a fab feeling when you lose :j
Not sure how i'll do this week ... got back from the in-laws yesterday & they don't have anything low fat ... not even sugar free juice or mixers
We went to Monkey world on Friday with DD (she was so excited :D ) and walked for ages which got me loads of bonus points but i've used them all  ... will just have to wait til tomorrow to find out.
What's everyone doing today? We're wallpapering the lounge ... wonder if that gets me bonus points? I suppose i could just eat less ... nah couldn't do that :rotfl: i like my food too much!
Have a good bank holiday all.
    Lou.

    BTW ...

LoopyYou will be anxious going out with OH to your sisters again so I would suggest you all get together soon to avoid any bad atmospheres - she probably is worried about meeting up again too incase you blame her.
They were round yesterday & all is fine now ... thanks ... :T
