    Afternoon all!

Haven't posted in a few days. Maintained this week not surprising and I can live with it particularly as the past week has been crazy busy and I haven't exercised. Went for a run this morning.

Thanks for all the support I got about running and the jeering comments. I really enjoyed my run today and no one jeered at all.

Suggs, DellyBelly, Tall Girl: Well done! Your hard work is really paying off.

    Take care. lisele

I just weighed - 9 st 11 lbs. 1lb in 2 wks isn't too bad, but am a bit disappointed cos I've been relatively good apart from yesterday(!), and that won't even have shown on the scales yet!
Damn 12 hr shifts, they always make me reach for the chocolate!

    Afternoon all.

Weigh in tonight - not looking forward to it, havent eaten anything good all week. Havent eaten a lot to be honest, just nibbled and picked but all the wrong things. Putting it down to hormones - and comfort eating. DD (4) starts school tomorrow and I am so depressed about it - she's my ickle baby! She is quite happy to be going, I'm in tears every time I think about it. She is going to be the youngest in her year - her best friend was 5 in July and will be in the same class, DD won't be 5 until May
Anyway, nothing to do with losing weight sorry.....

Well done to all this week, I reckon I am in for about 1lb gain. Will report back later... (The only reason I'm going tonight is cos our consultant told us the new SW magazine would be there by tonight).

Know how you feel, Honey28 - my 'icklebaby' started the Big School last week and it seems only yesterday I watched him go off to the primary school too!

Don't worry about the weight - maybe you haven't been as bad as you think.

I am down 3lb this week:D .....which brings me to a grand 0.5lb below my initial starting weight with the 2lb club back in May:o

Still at least I'm back in the black as it were:rotfl:

Firstly, I hope you all had a good weekend and your all enjoying the bank holiday. Sorry but this will be short and quick as I am heading off to mothers this evening.

I did two big sessions in the gym, one on Saturday, one today. Beginning to feel a little achey  but I felt the need to do it. (ex had been chewing my ear = chocolate!). Bought myself a insultated lunchbox so can take some salad and yoguart to work, just need to find a decent dressing as I love salad cream :(

Well and congraulations to TallGirl, feeling good now? Nice to hear your still out there having a run, I still struggle with the treadmill  Lisele. Well done to you Dellybelly. Every little counts faithless, remember the theory, good this week = scales next week? Excellent loss Katyk.

Dellybelly and Maduari seem to be in a world off their own, must be nice there ;) I wonder if it red or green most days there?

Consultant, still confused about the frothy milkshake?????

I've given up on Slimming World and have taken up calorie counting (again) I know it works for me.

    Anyway today's weigh-in is 3.25lbs off - YAY ME!!!

Sorry to have caused any confusion. I have to be honest and say I can't remember now what it was about (put it down to the ever-increasing 'senior moments' :rotfl: ) With SW, milkshakes are meant to be synned, but I often make one using just the one banana, a couple of apricots and skimmed milk from my allowance. I reason that since I could easily eat that amount of fruit with a glass of milk, there's no point in synning them when combined into a 'shake.

Aw Honey I can remember back to when my last little chick left me to start school, it was awful and I came home on the first morning in tears. We had to laugh though when on the second day she was most miffed to find she had to go back, cos she thought 'going to school' meant just the once, and couldn't understand why she had to go again :rotfl:

Yay Lisele:T I'm so glad you enjoyed your run - you're an inspiration!

Faithless I'm guessing you're not too far from your target and if that's right, your 1lb loss is very good as it does get hard towards the end. Stay strong and it'll come off for sure.

Lol, LoopyLou that's always my reasoning too - can't possibly eat less food, got to find another way to get the weight off (that's why I love SW).

Well done Tallgirl you're really moving that weight - must be down to all that exercise. Just goes to show, if you find something you love doing, it's not a chore is it? How far do you reckon you walk during the 18 holes?

Monkeylugs You will only stick to any diet which makes it as easy and painless as possible, so go for your calorie counting if it works for you. You will still get any support you need from all of us here

Finally, congratulations on your promotion to the 2 star brigade Dellybelly
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Apparently we all get a free mag this week although can't remember what it was!

Honey, good luck tomorrow, she'll be absolutely fine.
    I haven't got one!
