Lol, unfortunately I've only just started - 2 weeks ago, and I've lost a lb so far. Still it's better than nothing I suppose
Suggs, I think the milkshake suggestion was from everyone saying 'at least you can't eat much with a bad mouth, it'll help your diet', but Consultant 31 suggesting milkshakes so you could still indulge without chewing!0 -
Hi Cheekymole,
Just wondering if you got my PM I sent to you a couple of days ago. Can you PM me? Cheers."He who asks questions cannot avoid the answers"0 -

Hi Cheekymole - good to have you back!
Well, put on the lb and half I lost last week but I was expecting it. I have had viewers at the house all week and havent made proper dinners - just snacked. Got a food diary and new start tomorrow. CM - the free mag you get at class is an "eating out" guide -chinese etc...
Well, kids bathed and in bed all set for tomorrow. Going to read my SW mag to take my mind off it - I'm dreading it! I know she will be fine -I will be the one crying in the playground!0 -
Suggs: My running isn't fast; running is possibly too grand a word. I struggle with treadmills because I get bored easily, and running outside means if I feel lazy I can do a mostly all down hill run--which means I end up walking back up hill to get home. Well done with your big gym sessions. Thanks for your support with the michael taking.
Consultant 31: Thanks for your support with the running as well. It really made me smile tonight to see the clapping smiley face.
Have a good night. lisele0 -

Evening all! I hope everyone enjoyed their bank holiday (unless you happen to be in Scotland, where it's a normal working day!)
I've had a lovely weekend - went out blackberrying yesterday with my neighbour and her two little lads, which was fun, then today OH and I went for a long walk alongside the canal, and watched people navigating the locks in their narrowboats. It's surprising how much you can do without travelling far from home.
We've got another holiday planned - next Monday we're going to Torquay for a few days, then back on Thursday for one night, before heading off to London on Friday, where we're going to see a show, have a meal, go to a club and spend the night in a hotel so we can all have a drink (or three!) and not have to drive home. The London night out is to celebrate my birthday, which was the deadline for a target I set myself some time ago, that I haven't got anywhere near.I'm going to really knuckle down this week to see how much I can lose before we go away, then try to be sensible for a week, then set myself a new target after my birthday.
Next weeks update will be on Sunday so could everyone who weighs themselves please do it a day earlier? I'll catch up with everyone else when I get back.
Here's the chart for this week. I thought it would be good to have a Slimmer of the Week, so I've highlighted Sugg's weight loss in red - well done Suggs, a well deserved award! Thinks - that's going to be me next week!
Well done to everyone that's lost weight this week, and well done to everyone for sticking in there and trying to lose weight - keep it up and it will work eventually.
As usual, if I've missed anyone out, or if anyone wants to join the club, please let me know, either on here, PM, or email.
Have a good week!

Dellybelly and Maduari seem to be in a world off their own, must be nice there
I wonder if it red or green most days there?
Suggs - we're talking about characters in a series of books by an author called Terry Pratchett. (have a look at Madauri's avatar to see what they look like).... they're a kind of pixie only scottish (pixtie) who's main purpose in life is fighting and getting drunk. They were thrown out of fairlyand for fighting and being drunk at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. They think that they're dead and when they're killed they're going off to be born somewhere else. Their names are usually quite mad - for example "No as big as big jock but no as wee as wee jock jock" It's quite a good laugh.... look out for 2 books called "A Hat Full of Sky" and "The Wee Free Men". - it'll take your mind off food.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0
