    Yesterday was this with extra cream as i ran 10 miles during the football !
    only able to eat half of it just now as out all day in the sun. -was delicious

    Rhubarb Shortbread thingy (recipe from an old thread somewhere!) and rhubarb crumble. Loads of rhubarb coming at the mo :T.

    I have had really rubbish day so i have whizzed up a batch of Apple and Carrot mini muffins to cheer myself up! :)

    treacle (more like syrup ) scones, very frugal and very yummy....not just for halloween
    recipe
    7oz self raising flour
    2oz butter
    1oz sugar
    1 tbs syrup
    7 tbs milk
    dash of salt and ginger

    sift the flour , add the salt and ginger, add butter to create a breadcrumb texture then add sugar and the wet ingredients, roll out to about 2cm thickness, cut to shape and bake at gas 8 for 10 mins

    It was meant to be vanilla and raspberry cheescake but forgot to but the raspberries:o
    Capital one was £1000.00 now £0.00:j
    Barclaycard was £250.00 now £190. 00
    Asda credit card was £500.00 now £0.00:j
    Aim to be credit card free by December 2012... Mostly done

    Made 2 lots of mushroom soup from homemade chicken stock,2 dozen jam tarts and a huge chocolate victoria sandwich today,yumyum
  • just finished decorating my half dozen gingerbread men, my boys love them and i am pleased they are more biscuity than the cakey sort the last batch turned out to be:D

    i love baking and the smell of warm gingerbread through the house today is delicious.
