  • I am making the Onion and Bacon steamed pudding found here:

    http://www.cheap-family-recipes.org.uk/recipe-bacononionpudding.html

We are not following the whole plan on the site ( which was developed on MSE) but if we were I would be feeding my whole family for 80p per day and still meeting their 5 a day and vitamin and mineral needs!!
Eat food, not edible food-like items. Mostly plants.

Lemon and poppy seed muffins for my Portuguese class, and two loaves of bread.

Going to do some chocolate ganache tarts for a bbq on Saturday, I'll make the pastry and bake off some tart cases tomorrow, and then make the ganache and fill them on Saturday so they're nice and fresh.

Huge Sticky Gingerbread today - YUMMY! Shame I can't eat it for a couple of days, I'm dying to get stuck into it :(. The wait will be worth it though, the flavours really develop if you leave it. Also made a couple of loaves of ordinary bread.
