Today I made 5 large Salmon fish cakes and I am very pleased to say they were a success and the taste was great much better than shop one's. In fact I didn't buy them never really impressed with them, but home made mmmmmm. So my repertoire in home made cooking gets better, I am really enjoying the challenge.Low Carb High Fat is the way forward I lost 80 lbs

Hmmm. I've just made a minestrone soup, and thought I'd do a rustic loaf to go with it. I found a recipe for Rye soda bread on the flour packet, had the inggredients, so had a go. Well the soup was yummy, but i think I'll pass on the bread. Terry Pratchetts' dwarf bread comes to mind! Never mind, win some lose some. Himself will finish it soaked in the soup later!Howwwwwww Much????

A quick batch of fairy cakes last night, which DH was impressed enough to eat,. but not impressed with me as "you are exhausted and shhave been relaxing" - he forgets that I whip these up in about 10 mins flat now and it's just a case of waiting for the oven timer to go off....
DD was delighted to find one in her lunchbox today though!GC 2010 €6,000/ €5,897
