    A loaf of my favourite brown soda bread. And some pink rose flavoured meringues that are crunchy on the outside but gooey/chewy on the inside - just how I like them.

    Rhubarb crumble, toad in the hole (is that baking??) and a large ginger cake to cut up and freeze for OH's lunches

    Rhubarb sponge....stewed the rhubarb and mixed 3 ladlefuls( is that a word??) into 4 egg ginger sponge mix and baked at 180c for about 30 mins., served with extra stewed rhubarb.....delicious but not good for hips!

    the only thing ive managed to bake today was a loaf of bread, will have to get on tomorrow and bake

    I made some brownies yesterday using a recipe I found on here that only uses cocoa powder and not melted choc.....they are fab! I also made some fairy cakes but they didn't turn out quite right, they seem a bit sugary and crusty on the top as if there was too much sugar in them.
