Ok, not strictly today, but yesterday I baked a Ben 10 birthday cake, sausage rolls and gorgeous mini sausages. As well as the usual bread! Today I'm sort of having a day off baking - just a chicken to roast!!Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

Morning, all. I've baked a chicken this morning (not really baking, but there you go
) and some little bacon and vegetable baked fritter-type things. Yesterday was the real baking day though. In the oven at one time I had 2 halves of a coconut cake on one shelf, a tin of stuffing for sandwiches and salads and a batch of 12 carrot cakes.

Results of baking day consist of a ginger cake, some blueberry 'muffins' and some shortbreaddy biscuits. The muffins aren't a true muffin recipe, I just made a standard sponge and mixed some blueberries in at the end but they seem to have turned out ok... *licks crumbs*0
