Just got a marble cake out of the oven. A Mary Berry cake, made in a tube pan - hoping I can get it out ok :D

Have made a large cheese and onion loaf to have with our chilli this evening, some weetabix brownies and an 8 egg lemon cake, most of which will go in the freezer to save turning on the over for a while.

I've made Mary Berry's marble cake a few times, it's a lovely recipe :) Did it come out of the tube pan ok?

I made eclairs today, topped with chocolate and filled with creme chantilly (cream beaten with icing sugar). They are YUM, although it was my first time piping choux pastry so they look a bit... unusual :rotfl:

It did turn out of the pan just fine, thanks. Here at The Lodge we never have anything unusual. Just lots of things with bucket loads of character :rotfl:

A meringue ready for Eton mess pudding for my birthday tea later, plus some sticky barbeque chicken wings and drumsticks marinating nicely.....don't think it's barbeque weather today!
