Did some baked apple cheesecake with butterscotch sauce in class today. The cheesecakes had a pastry case instead of a biscuit base, which was nice.
Now I have a craving for something sweet but I have nothing made, and can't even decide what I want.0 -
Technically yesterday!
I made chicken pies. I had some frozen chicken picked off a boiled carcass when making stock months ago, made a white sauce, added some basics tinned sweetcorn lurking in the cupboard. Put this into individual casserole dishes and popped a circle of puff pastry (xmas leftover) on top and put it in the oven. It puffed up so much, lovely! They looked like the ones you get in pub grub! I have some spare pastry left but not sure quite what to do with it at the moment, also need to use up some raspberry compote (not HM )
I have some bananas that need using up so it looks like a banana cake on the menu tomorrow!Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £82,340.34 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £155 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £161.29 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £964.62 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0 -
