I think I'm going to make an effort tomorrow. DD2 is starting to get stressed out with school again and she really likes my grandma's apple cake. A sweet bread base with custard under apple slices, topped with hot jam and sliced almonds. It's strange as it was always DD1 I either baked with or for and I 'd been watching my weight since she moved out...First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0

I will make a nice crumble I think later as I have half a dozen past their best apples in the fruit bowl, just starting to get a bit wrinkled so it will use them up and do as a pudding for several days for me0

Had a 'doing day' today
Baked Lemon Drizzle cake, a seeded loaf, 20 buttermilk scones.
I also started 23 ltrs wine and used up some freezer burned berries and made 3 pots of jam - hence the scones
