Do you think its possible that when you have eaten X amount of chocolate over the course of a lifetime (X being in the order of tonnes :D) a saturation point is reached?

Maybe it's hormonal or seasonal ;) I'm not quite there yet .... but eating less of it actually makes me enjoy it more, weird paradox

Only thing today is bread. It's in the Panny as we speak. But been out in the garden chopping my two apple trees down. Given carrier bags full to some friends & neighbours but will start this week on apple pies for the freezer.

The same has been scientifically proven w/o marshmallows! - as demonstrated in a small scale study noted in this book:

    This:

It was so bad it went in the bin. You couldn't have even got away with covering it in custard. It was dense, doughy and tasteless. Yuck.

The reviews are divisive - seems to evoke good memories in older people, younger people unimpressed. It's a waste of expensive ingredients if inedible :(

Thankfully it was a cheap tin of pineapple that had been lurking. It was more having the oven on for an hour that bothered me!

Made one tin chocolate cake today as I have been busy and it is quick, easy, moist and fail safe.
