I am going to prepare some dough this afternoon (a wet mix, 700g flour 500ml water, 2tbs olive oil), and leave it overnight to prove. I may add a little yoghurt to the mix and try to get a sourdough flavour.

Today was Christmas cake day chez moi. I baked a 7 inch cake for us, and four mini loaves for gifts. Tomorrow I shall dig out the booze and start feeding them. Brandy for the gift cakes and whisky for ours, I think.0
