I'm glad you rekindled this thread :T.
I've not been baking much besides the weekly loaf, as still watching my weight and thanks to oven problems....
I really need to do something with apples soon, probably a sponge first - once OH fixed the issue with the oven...:)First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -

I've been lurking, but also not baking much. I'm making my friends wedding cake/cupcakes next month as a present, so saving my monies for that. I miss baking though!'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0

Purple - looking amazing as usual....
Smooch - they sound lush, who cares what they look like if it's for you and yours
I had an epic fail today - tried to make 'Blondies' by using my trusted recipe for brownies and replacing dark choc for white - it must have split as it was not good - hey-Ho- back to the drawing board.
Making brownies and lemon drizzle sheet cakes tomorrow for friends, hope it's back to in the kitchen as I also messed up a chicken curry today, was okay, but not like it usually turns out.....Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
