Your cake is beautiful purpledonkey
Just baked a plain white loaf today, had to use 4 oz sr flour as I'd not quite enough strong flour but it seems to have turned out okay. Will know when I start it tomorrow.0 -
Today I made an entirely vegan chocolate fudge cake for my friend as he's lactose intolerant.'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0

Made millionaires shortbread and tried to have a go at feathering with white chocolate on the top but it didn't quite work so I just did a swirly pattern. Looks ok but just waiting for it to set before I cut it into pieces.
I was floundering for a skewer and think my dark chocolate set rather quickly. Am I right in thinking you need to feather whilst both chocolates are still runny?Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
I made (in the BM so does that count?) a very nice multigrain loaf with flour that was on offer in @aldi. Its turned out a treat, nice and crusty outside and soft inside, had it with some HM jam while it was warm, i now have indigestion but it was worth itThoughts to all. Mrs D.
