I can't believe how long it has been since someone posted here! 4 days!!

I've baked millionaire's shortbread. It isn't a very neat bake (it was my first go and I was feeling unwell by the end!)

Everyone who has tried it has loved it (so far!). Recipe on my blog, which can be found by clicking on my profile here on MSE and viewing my 'About Me'.

I'm hoping to do more baking next week, I fancy some bread and maybe some pies for the freezer as Islandmaid has got me really wanting one now!

I would eat all of those! :)

So far I've baked raspberry brownies and about to make a charity cake, as soon as I can be arsed to get up :)

you still get wild garlic? We don't pick it after it's flowered here.

How lucky to have cobnuts nearby, I'm jealous!

Just made an ordinary half ww/white loaf, nothing special.

on Sunday i made bread dough for the first time in 18 months, made it for junior church lesson - decided we would make bread rolls shaped as quails for the craft session. i have not made bread since a multiple shoulder and arm fractures - must have exercised some kneading muscles in a way they haven't been used in that time as my shoulder has ached since!! bread tasted and smelled lovely. one Mum said she had never even thought of making bread by hand!!

maybe i should make bread more often as it obviously got muscles working in a way that physio did not before it ended.
