    So far today I have made a pork loin joint, 6 pizza bases, a quiche and some mini quiches for pack ups and some chilli cheese biscuits.

    after watching James Martin make yorkshire puddings on Saturday kitchen yesterday (on catchup) i've just had a go.....not bad if i do say so myself :-)

    today I have made millionaires shortbread from the index on grocery challenge thread they look lovely, also making a couple of dozen bitesize sausage rolls for lunches and packed lunches, feeling all bakery today............

    Having looked at the photo all I can say is "WOW!". Did you make the full amount that JM did or did you make a smaller amount? No way would I want (or need) an 8oz flour, 8 eggs & 1 pint of milk mixture - there's only 2 of us usually! (although 4 at the moment).

    I made the whole recipe...it made 20 easily in a muffin tin.
    I freeze the excess as only my kids eat them (as i'm egg intolerant and hubby is a coeliac)

    A really simple fish pie. Fish pie bits from a pack, added frozen peas, instant parsley sauce mix topped with instant mash. Now just cooking in my oven.
    It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.
