Made my first @ldi loaf today, it's turned out just as well as when I use branded flour/yeast and saved roughly a third :)

    Chocolate brownies

  • Yesterday I made lemon surprise pudding with raspberries in the bottom. Took it round to Mum & Dad who both had seconds. Doesn't it make all the difference when your efforts are appreciated?

Being truly OS I used the oven for a batch of scones (also shared) and used residual heat to make yogurt :0)

I made lemon muffins using the lemon curd loaf recipe on here.

I pimped them up with some poppy seeds thrown in.

I made a guernsey Gache (pronounced gosh) in OH's panasonic breadmaker DD and I bought him for Christmas. It's a fruit bread with sultanas and is delicious. In the slow cooker I made 6 portions of lentil soup for work lunches this week then 5 portions of minestrone. Total cost for all the soup was about £3 as the tomato bases came from DH's greenhouse in the summer and had been frozen!! Were also had lentil soup out of the batch for lunch today and the 6 portions were what was left!!
  • I've baked a loaf of wholemeal bread today instead of white, smells amazing :j
