Mmmmm! Parkin. I've not had that for years and years. I've jotted down the recipe in the link for future reference. i.e. tomorrow, probably.
I've made a batch of Twinks Hobnobs and rang the changes by making some of the recipe as normal and added desiccated coconut to some and peanut butter to the rest. Fab!0 -

Not so much today, just date scones, but we do love our scones, they stop us buying a coffee out when we go shopping as we have coffee and scone at home before we go, much nicer than what the shops often serve.

Today I made a lovely, creamy leek and potato soup, and bread rolls for tea.This was followed by chocolate brownie and cream! The chocolate brownie was a new recipe and worked out really well! It had cocoa powder and plain chocolate, and syrup which gave it a lovely chewy consistency!Less is more0

Already have a carrot cake fresh out of the oven and a choc, fruit and nut crunch in the fridge and now contemplating a sticky ginger cake.
