    just made these

i really like them, 2 yr old loves them, 6 and 4 yr old not so much. They're not huge fans of peanut butter though so I'll forgive them even though I made a double batch. Looks like the 2yr old is in luck :)

I am making Twink's hobnobs for the first time and have a question:how many biscuits does it make (it's got 225g of flour/sugar/porridge oats etc)?

It also says to make smallish balls when putting onto the baking sheet-would that be walnut-sized for example,or bigger?

Thanks if you can help.I don't want them to be too small and burn or be too cooked.

Am bedding down because of the snow/freezing weather. Have been making comfort food - 3 X Steak & Kidney pies, and 12 X Cornish Pasties (and 12 X cupcakes - nothing to do with the weather but just because I like them). Also, just thought to add, made a smoked haddock flan last night - does this count too?).
  • My two nephews made these today, and very nice they were too.

    They are delicious!
    I've already had three...
  • I absolutely love this thread, so many amazing ideas

Hubby and the kids are ill so today I made their favourite lemon drizzle to cheer them up plus a dozen crusty white rolls which we had with some homemade veg mulligatawny- perfect comfort food while we're housebound with illness and snow :D
  • Today I made a cherry tray bake & some cheese biscuits. Both recipes from Mary Berry's baking bible which has some really good recipes in. I've not yet had one that hasn't worked.
In true OS style I baked the biscuits at the same time as the traybake, which meant I could optimise my oven use :-)
