Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

  • Random perhaps but I made dog biscuits, two varieties one was peanut butter and the other cheese. Got the recipe book and cookie cutter together from home bargains, only 50p!

The dog loves them and they smell much better than shop bought :)

I made peshwari Naan to go with the chicken curry, double chocolate muffins, lemon drizzle cakes and some bread rolls. I feel very virtuous and also very very fat - why do I insist on eating what I've made?

OO do you have a recipe for the naan please? It's my hubby's favourite kind! :)
  • I'm going to rustle up some waffles for breakfast shortly in my recently purchased (but well used so far) lakeland waffle maker, will also replenish the Millie's cookies that don't last a day in my house, and will try to get a wee look at my secret takeaway book that was recommended on here and see what ingredients I need to stock up on for next week.

Have a good weekend everyone :)

Do you have a recipe? Sound yummy x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Hello Molly, here is a recipe for Cadbury Creme Egg Brownies, have not tried it yet myself but sounds yummy!

    185g Unsalted Butter
    185g Dark Chocolate
    85g Plain Flour
    40g Cocoa Powder
    3 Large Eggs
    275g Golden Caster Sugar
6 Cadbury’s Crème Eggs cut in half.

Preheat the oven to 160C and grease a 20 cm square baking tin.

Melt the butter and dark chocolate together either in the microwave or in a bowl over boiling water.

Put 3 large eggs into a large bowl and add the 275g of golden caster sugar. Whisk the eggs and sugar using an electric mixer (max speed)until they look thick and creamy.

Pour the cooled chocolate mixture over the egg/sugar mixture, and then gently fold together.

Then you need to weigh out the cocoa/flour and sift the cocoa and flour mixture over the chocolate/butter/egg/sugar mixture and gently fold.

Pour into the baking tin and cook for 15 minutes then take out of the oven and gently press the cadburys crème egg halves into the mix, spacing them apart evenly. Put back in the over for another 5-10 minutes.

Leave to cool before removing from tin and cutting into squares.

    Hope this helps.
