Made a huge veg and chickpea curry. Made enough for 3 lunches - all boxed up and in the freezer - ready to take out in the morning.

Ooh, where is the recipe for Millie's cookies please?
Here it is - I found it on this thread a few pages back:
    MILLIES COOKIES
    3oz butter
    3oz granulated sugar
3oz brown sugar (can just use all white granulated, works just fine)
    vanilla essence
    1 egg
    6oz s/r flour
    pinch salt
    4oz choc chips

    Preheat oven to 180c.
    Mix all ingredients together.
Put spoonfuls on greaseproof paper and cook for 11 mins precisely.

Cookies should still be soft when they come out of the oven, they will harden a bit.
Peel off greaseproof when they cool.

    Enjoy! ;)

  • Today I have made 60 Twink’s Hobnobs, 24 choc chip fairy cakes, lentel stew, butternut squash soup, making chicken stock in slow cooker from the roast chicken we are having tonight. Can't remember when I have cooked so much

I've just made some more of these and added some softened red pepper. Mmm.

We missed out on making pancakes on pancake day so I made a mountain ( 22yr old DS is a food hoover) of of them served up with vanilla sugar and lemons I got reduced to 5p each.

Chocolate brownies, flapjack, bread rolls, veg soup and enchillatas. Feeling very pleased with myself - especially as I thought I had nothing in lol!

Olive swirl bread rolls, to go with my roast chicken this evening. That's if I can resist eating them before this evening, of course! ;)

Pear Crumble but used crushed amaretti biscuits instead of oats in the topping (had them in cupboard anyway)
  • Been busy today

Peanut butter cookies, weetabix cake, meringues, monkey bread, olive, jalapeno and chorizo swirl bread, bacon and bean bake for tea, caraway bread plait, veg soup for lunches tomorrow and tuesday. And there's a curry in the slow cooker to be switched on in the morning.

Not usually this productive but was in the mood today
