    I remember how chuffed I was the first time I made them. Back then I had to ask my mum how long to boil taters for - so this was a big moment :)

    Made long white rolls for a change yesterday (usually make wholemeal loaves).
    Then wanted to try hot cross bun dough, couldn't be bothered with more faffing so just put it all in the breadmaker and did it as a loaf- it's gorgeous!
    And made some little cheesy biscuity things for snacks, but will have to be severely rationed, they're a bit addictive:)

    I made bread (by hand, to see if I could), and also a couple of crumbles to go in the oven while tonight's sausage casserole cooks.
    Trying for daily wins, and a little security in an insecure world.
  • Today i`ve made fruit cake (actually christmas cake but now named fruit cake till october LOL) Just need to feed it brandy for a few weeks and try not to eat it before then !! Yesterday made yummy mini carrot cakes with lemon icing,made in the new lakeland individual tray bake pan it`s brill !!

    Leek and bacon quiche, apple strudel cake, mini pizzas, sausage rolls, pancakes.

    Blimey, its no wonder I'm exhausted!

    I like the sound of cinnamon swirls, recipe? Please :D.

    Baked custard - I made the custard in a pan and am baking it in the slow cooker - no idea what it's going to look like but I am sure we'll eat it anyway :D
