I have Hugh FW's Everyday book, and he has a recipe for wraps/flatbreads.
He uses 250g flour, 150ml warm water, teasp salt & 1 tbspn oil. Knead 5 mins then rest 15 min.
Scaling down his measurements yours are about right, although w/meal or spelt may need a touch more water I guess.
Maybe it was just a bit too rushed? I'd just have another go when not in a hurry, you're used to dough so will know when it seems right

Anyone got the River Cottage "Cakes" book? Any good?
I looked at it briefly today in Waterstones, it looks lovely and really quite varied with a bit about cake decoration at the start. I'll pick up a copy when it's dropped in price a bit. All those River Cottage handbooks are really nice, the bread one especially.0 -
Yesterday I made bread in my breadmaker and cherry scones which were delicious! I also made HM potato wedges whilst the oven was going, some for tea and some for the freezer.
Today I have made banana bread pudding, also yummy!

Used up some left over veg that I didn't have another use for and I am rather impressed with results!!
Four generous servings for pennies rather than the £1 a tin I usually pay for Crosse and Blackwell Soup I usually buy.

They're so thin so it's a very fine line between done right and gone biscuity :rotfl:
I've been on your website and printed off a load of recipes from it. I made the hot cross(less) buns the other day. Yummy.0
