A busy morning, pastry chilling in the fridge (steak & mushroom filling made in SC yesterday), just taken a batch of brownies out of the oven, dough for seeded bread is rising for baking a bit later on. The house smells lovely!0

I've just bought a new three in one microwave oven: microwave, grill, and convection.
Up until now I've baked my bread in my conventional convection oven, but it is pretty old and takes a long time to heat up. My question to moneysavers is this: Can I bake conventional bread ie an ordinary 2lb loaf in a microwaves inbuilt convection oven?
On the face of it it would seem to be a more economic way to bake with only a quarter of the space to heat up. Would you agree?
Tips and suggestions for using this type of oven for baking much appreciated.

Rhubarb pie and an apple pie
Triple layer sponge cake (middle layer coloured pink made a change!)
Had to cook two chickens but lots left over so made chicken soup and going to use the rest for a chicken pie tomorrow.Be nice to each other

Museli Bars - Nigella
Choc chip n marshmellow muffins
White choc chip and cranberry cookies - again Nigella
Then roasted pork joint (for evening meal) and a ham joint for pack ups.0 -
