Just baked a lovely loaf of bread in my Hinari bread maker. I amost never use a recipe or if I use one, I don't stick to measurements, just add whatever is in the cupboard and according to my mood and wishes. Today it was half plain white flour /half wholemeal flour bread with chopped dried apricots. I added yeast, sugar, salt, a bit of oil and the result is lovely, I think we will polish it off today by the looks of it (almost all ingredients except a tsp of corn oil are supermarket own brand, so it's v cheap)

It must be drizzle day as I've made lemon drizzle cake (in a loaf tine) for the first time with a recipe from a magazine plus a banana and sultana loaf as well.

All of this baking talk is making me rather hungry! And unfortunately I just gave up sweets for this lent! I am a dessert addict! I had to cut down on my chocolate intake because it started to get bad, but I found enough other sweets to make up for the lack of chocolate!
Brownies are by far my favorite thing to bake and eat warm from the oven though! Anyone have any good recipes for dark chocolate brownies?

I made homemade pizzas, topped with double Gloucester cheese (surprisingly tasty on a pizza), bacon, mushroom and pepperoni. And there's a couple of slices left that might not see tomorrow... ;)

Cinnamon swirl bread - but forgot to halve the recipe so I've ended up with 4 big loaves! Luckily oh has friends round tonight so at least a couple should get eaten.
