I made some rolls and bread today and a cheese and potato pie.
    Debt Free...yay! 10/09/2013 :j

  • I made a delicious leftovers quiche, a handful of chopped spinach, 1 1/2 red onions and about 4oz cheese. While oven was on made a jam sponge, using 1/4 jar jam and just 2ozs butter, 2 oz sugar, 1 egg, 3 ozs s.r. flour, 1 tbspn milk.

Used up loads of odds and ends but made a scrummy filling dinner (dessert in the week is unheard of, OH thought it was the weekend!!!!

A dozen cupcakes for the lovely ladies I work for and DH is attempting Naan bread as I type. The naan is looking iffy though, our house too cool & the yeast doesn't like it. DH has it sitting over a bowl of hot water at the mo lol. We'll see ;)

Well, I have to report that the naan breads were lovely. The bowl of water idea wasn't so daft after all, it worked!

Brownies (as helped by lovely OS'ers on another post).

    Yum!

Which recipe did you use for this? Also does anyone know where I can find as "Twinks" recipe please?

    Hi robbie,

You can find the recipe for twinks here and if you read on through that thread there are quite a few variations on the original recipe.

About the sizzlers, Justamum, since the Cheezly doesn't melt (IME), I find it works better to chop the tomatoes into small pieces and mix the Cheezly in. Then just spread it across the circle of dough and bring the sides over.

    Cheers, Paul

Thanks I'll try that. I've made cheese on toast before now with the melting cheezly and although it did take quite a while it did melt and looked very like 'normal' cheese.
