I've done Choc chip Millies Cookies and a Millionaire's shortbread, and have some double choc muffins in the oven just now. Had to do the millionaire's base twice as I forgot the first one was in and burnt it!It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

I tried to make gooey chocolate brownies but there was far too much butter in the recipe, plus I forgot to remove the greaseproof paper before it cooled so have had a right old hoo-ha removing it. D'oh! Oh well, what remains of it will still taste delicious with ice-cream later!Dry January: 31/31 days. :T0

Hi just baked some fairy cakes following a recipe from a new book. I baked them in paper cases but they all collapsed into each other and the mixture kind of spread all over the baking tray. Where did I go wrong? One odd thing about the recipe was that it contained no butter - just flour, sugar, milk, eggs, water, vanilla essence, baking powder and bicarb of soda.Sober October = 0 alcohol free days
