I'm moving house in a few days, and I've started packing up the kitchen. I just about managed to wedge all my baking tins into one massive box, and in doing so I counted to see how many I had.
I have about fifty baking tins.
Please someone tell me they have a similar amount (or preferably more) so I feel a bit better and less of a freak...
(I'm not even going to count the cookbooks, but I have lot more of those than I have baking tins.)
I have got an apple crumble in the oven as we speak (this is a major bake for me! haha)...My Gran came over and gave me a load of apples from her trees but i must say its a scarey job cutting them up cos im always scared they might have wasps in them!!! :eek:Why does my dog chase cars? Even if he caught one he hasn't passed his test!0 -
I made cornish pasties for the first time today, inspired by watching River Cottage - never seen that before. They were very nice and the kids ate the lot so that gives me another meal as I'm really bored of cooking the same stuff all the time. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

yesterday the grandkids made choc krispy cakes and added chopped glace cherries (their idea - not mine)! they ate about two or three each and said they were the best! well they are only six!
I am going to look for some recipes on cbeebies for them - I am forced to watch that when minding 3yr old grandson and Katie seems to have some nice recipes (but that ruddy song she sings every time drives me nuts!).0 -
Im going to make some christmas gingerbread biscuits, does anyone know how long they will last (apart from them being eaten I mean:) ) as in shelf life?
I presume they will last quite a few weeks, just thought I'd make an early start as I like to wrap them in cellophane as gifts.:A0
