I must remember to buy some Nutella on Friday whilst it's still on special at Tesco, then I think I will have a go at making those muffins.

ok...puree'd some apples that needed using (they usually go in the dogs!) and used them in the 'banana muffin' recipe instead of bananas...added the nutella on the top instead of the choc chips inside and hey presto YUM!
Only thing I would say is the apple isnt very strong tasting but it's prob cos I used normal eating apples instead of stronger tasting cooking or granny smiths.

Ladies ( and any gents :) ) I wonder if anyone of you can help me please.
I have always made my own christmas cakes etc, however I have always made regular size ones and would like to make smaller ones and have no idea how to figure out the difference in timings. Any help would really be appreciated.
    TIA

Delia might be able to help:

Yeh, I think cooking apples are supposed to be more tarte tasting aren't they, I can't remember, it's that long since I bought cooking apples.

I am talking decades here, not a year or two. :o

  • I am so glad I did my baking before reding this or there would have been nutella in everything. :D I made Scotch Broth (vegan) Double choc muffins and banana - nut muffins, have some apple and oat muffins in the oven, and a flapjack.
