    Made some English muffins, from a River Cottage recipe. I will have one for supper, with melted cheese and my friend's mother-in-law's gorgeous chutney.
  • I haven't made anything but DD made blueberry muffins at school today & having just eat one,I can confirm that they are very nice!

    Banana Muffins a winner!!!! The kids have just taken one each to school :)
    Why does my dog chase cars? Even if he caught one he hasn't passed his test!

    Glad that they like them, I bought some more bananas yesterday so may make some more when the start to over ripen.

    I'm gonna do apple ones too...I know people grate the apples into them but wondered if I can just make an apple sauce and mush em in like you do with the bananas? dunno what would work best....
    ps...i have more bananas rippening too! lol

    Some people buy jars of apple compote or I think that is what it's called, basically a jar of mushed up apples. :D

    I would imagine they would be ok mushed up and added, I bought some bramleys that were reduced yesterday so I may give them a go myself too.

    Just found a recipe for Banana and Nutella Swirl Muffins, off to post it in the muffin thread. ;)

    well today i thought as a treat i would bake the children some biscuits and cherry scones, which are in the oven now and smell delicious. I thought i would start of with somethink easy and simple, so i hope they turn out ok.:D
    My goal this year is to be more orginised and start leading a healthy life.xx
