Hi, sorry for the delay - was working the night shift.
Yes, just like Chelsea buns, but without the fruit. Recipe is here:
http://www.notquitenigella.com/2008/03/19/nigella-lawson-norwegian-cinnamon-buns-from-how-to-be-a-domestic-goddess/
It's a Nigella recipe, but I found it elsewhere.

No probs, the recipe is on the Muffin authors site so not breaking any copyright rules, I can't believe how easy muffins are to cook!

Thanks! I actually have the book they're in but I haven't noticed this particular recipe, I'll definitely give them a go as they look very yummy.
Do you really think they needed all that yeast though? It seems extremely excessive. For 600g flour I'd have thought a teaspoon of dried/instant yeast would have been plenty. Wonder if there's a reason they use so much.0 -
I made my first pancakes today from scratch and they were delicious considering I couldn't boil an egg a few years ago I am delighted!!!! my range of home baking is improving all the time. ra ra raLow Carb High Fat is the way forward I lost 80 lbs

I made some chocolate orange magdalenas (Spanish fairy cake things), I found the recipe on a Spanish food blog that I forgot to bookmark and now can't find again
Also some sausage rolls for DH, from some puff pastry I made months ago and discovered the other day still languishing in the freezer. I accidentally ate one myself!0 -

I have looked for the 'caramelised apple cake with streusel topping' on the BBC GF website, but can't find it.Any chance that you could post a link?
TIA.
PS I have also looked at www.thepinkwhisk.co.uk very inspiring and some great recipes!
Hi marmiterulesok,
Just seen your post, the link is http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/12842/caramelised-apple-cake-with-streusel-topping sorry not sure of how to do the shorter link, I find the bbc good food site great as you can get feedback from people who have already tried the recipe and avoid making similar mistakes but the site does seem to be experiencing a lot of technical problems lately.
