This morning, I decided I was coming in late to work (have worked extra hours in mornings, and late evenings too much recently, and late meeting tonight means at leat after 7, and again tomorrow, before I finish). So aiming for a 10am start, I woke earlier than hoped so made a batch of raspberry jam (I got LOADS on the plot last night) and one and a half batches of raisin scones (I made a half batch as a "test the jam" batch, and them realised I had a carton of cream gone just over date, so made a full batch with that).
The half batch were taken to work, with a tub of butter and the half jar of jam (there are 3 full ones in the cupboard at home!) for testing purposes. All worked well, and I had 2 requests for the scone recipe (an old one from mum that I've been making for about 30 years).GC 2010 €6,000/ €5,897

Yesterday we made sponge cakes with icing/jelly babies and princess dics for uncles birthday cake. Today hubbie made banana & sultana fruitloaf as well as banana muffins - to use up the ripe bananas we had as well as bananas given to us by friends who are away on holiday. Plenty in the cupboards and hubbie is taking some to his work.MFIT T2 Challenge - No 46
