  • Yesterday I made a banana loaf which did not taste to nice...okay with custard though! I also made some banana cupcakes with lemon frosting and they were yummy!

Today I am making a lemon drizzle cake and going to try and make those twink hobnobs but instead of using normal golden syrup, I am going to to be using the Lyle maple syrup as it was on offer! Hope they come out ok, its a test run on lunch box stuff as my son wants to go back to pack lunches!

Yesterday I made Banana Cake for the first time and was disapointed,:( quite heavy and bland, but someone suggested using it as the sponge in a trifle rather than throwing it away.

However today I made lemon drizzle cake and it was absolutley gorgeous. :D Already half has gone, I should have made two!

Pretty new to OS but I am learning every day. I am soo into baking, today I went to TK Maxx and bipassed the clothes section to look if they had any good baking equipment in their sale:A

I made Twinks and a hot baked trifle in the oven for tea. To use a Bristol phrase they were 'gurt lush' (very very nice ;))!
