I baked slow cooker, no-knead, sourdough bread today. (Well technically it was yesterday but I've got another loaf made and rising ready to bake today so that counts doesn't it?)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I made a loaf of cheese and herb bread last night, but sadly forgot to add the crucial ingredient - yeast! It looks more like a brick than a loaf of bread, but I'm hoping I'll be able to salvage it as breadcrumbs and/or croutons for HM soup, so it won't be a total waste of ingredients.

I've now replaced it with a load of wholemeal bread which does have yeast in it, and is considerably more edible!
Back after a very long break!

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.
