Another AFD for me today hey!
What to do about me hee?
Out on Friday with the work crew
    What to do huh?

Day 15 for me HB when you're ready!

Many collegues highly tempting me to go and get hammered on Friday and go for a long night out and get a mega expensive taxi home

Felt tempted to some extent and go on the train and come home earlish.

Now thinking about going in the car, for a couple of drinks then home as I don't want a hangover, rough feeling...etc....etc

How can I hang on to my strength and reduce the temptation of getting slightly hammered with my friends?

I've already told them I'm giving it up soon and this weekend is the last weekend for the next 4 weeks it is allowed.

    Options
    1. go on the train, have a few (3 ish) leave early to get train home and walk home and be home before the pubs close
    2. Drive, leave after an hour and go home to cries of lame and boo and get home in 30mins and a cuppa (why can't I feel stronger about this?)
    3. Don't go
Why do I hang on to the thought of fuzzy alcohol induced night out and then have one more as if I was in my early 20's? Why do I have this argument in my head every day, every time a night out comes up? Why am I not comfortable not drinking in this situation. I feel as though alcohol is controlling me even though I am stone cold sober - what on earth is going on in my head?

    Sparkles,

Option 2 but would suggest them to go and start with a meal so could join them for a meal before then driving off.

I think number 2 sounds good Sparkles, btw was it you or another poster that had the same dilema last year. (I can't remember but it was the same problem, I do know that). I just can't remember the outcome??? Budgie is getting old (ish) :D Hugs and take care (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Lurks, think you might need to contact Hallmark about your writing abilities :D
I agree matey, it is so nice to be seeing you so often, if you see what I mean? Its never the same when you go off on your bimbling tours in deepest Lurkdom you know ;). So big hugs matey and take care. (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Marru, so pleased to hear about the school/DD xxx
Indeed it is, so pleased that your DD is in a school where they care sweetheart. I am sure she will soon be ok and you will not have to worry.

Ok I have to dash, just popping in to update my score,I did think of red wine earlier. I then thought of Graemes words on when he was drinking that he always managed to make an excuse to do so, despite his good intentions. So red wine has been side stepped and instead I have had tea. So matey I just wanted to say that I do listen and I do take in what you say. Thankyou as always and I hope you are ok, big hugs and lots of Budgie love (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

So big hugs to everyone I haven't had time to mention, Fay I hope you are ok hunny and that you are feeling more positive, I am thinking of you and I am here if you need me. (()) Hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Lots of love to you all
God BLess and I am off to catch up properly now.

Edit: Welcome to Keys and well done for posting, good luck and take care (()) xxxxxxxxxxxx FPW nice to see you back sweetheart, hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
