  • Right well the glue didn't work for me Jo, hope it worked for you. I found myself sitting in front of the telly at 8pm watching 'he's just not that into you' with a white wine and soda. The result, horrid wine, tedious film. After 4 days AF I wake up this morning with a minor headache. Not even worth it. I know it was just the one, but why ?

So looking forward to a new thread, new AF approach.

    Hope you all fared better.

    Morning all :hello:

23 for me please WBF (if you are still in Devon remember tea.gif and SCONE-OR-CHOC-CHIP-0.jpg:naughty: )

Had a really carp afternoon at work yesterday, which was more of a downer because the previous day was fantastic. Found myself being tempted to have a drink when I was out last night:(. In the end I resisted because I knew I had to weigh myself this morning (for LouiseJ's weight challenge). I've discovered that weighing myself Saturday morning really helps me be abstemious on a Friday night:D

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

sorry, just copying GP in trying to make a dramatic entrance. Sorry I've been AWOL for the last couple of weeks or so - fell into a can't be @rsed pit and took a while to climb out. Not been AF I'm afraid but nothing excessive, the later only because of the company I've been drinking with - some other friend and I would have been seriously sloshed, several times...

Last night though I didn't touch adrop so feel great this morning - it's going to be a good weekend I think.

I'm going back to the one day at a time approach - it seems to work best for me - kind of takes the pressure off a bit if you see what I mean.

Off to the garden center now to get a few plants to brighten the place up a bit. Have a lovely Saturday
