  • I'm going to buck the trend guys. This morning I got into a pair of trousers that have never fitted before-you know the kind-'I'll save them for when I've lost weight' Mind you when I tried to sit down in them I decieded that the risk of having them split open midday was too much to chance. But I was well chuffed I got them done up at least.(Still 2 sizes bigger than I would like) Think the not drinking malarky is slowly slowly having an effect on my waistline.

Had a mental day work wise and DS has had his friend for tea....roll on Eastenders!

    Jo - what news?

I hope today's date will prove a wake up call - Xmas a whole month ago & not lost an ounce of weight & I also have loads of too-small clothes. I seem to be the same shape as you Fay (well, going by what you say NOT how you look!) my waist measurement is almost the same as my hips (ouch ouch ouch) which is such an unhealthy shape to be....

Anyway, ramble ramble...going to try not to eat again tonight.

Good luck with your evenings, if I can you can.

Well done on an AFD winebox :j

I think my waist is the same size as my height - almost I stood on the scales at work - bear in mind I had on two sets of clothes, waterproofs, boots and scarf hat, jacket and stuff in pockets - OMG the number of kilos that it said!!!

Declaring day 18 for me HB - out alot in the field and done a mountain of cookign tonight to keep my idle hands busy.

    Hope you're all good :D

PBT thanks for the lovely 'how to leave your larger' 50 tips - I read through it, very good - thannks for posting it

RA - as always thanks for posting those link and stuff...cheers!

Hmmm well they blame power failures but it's odd how the constant problems on the District have started since they made the sperm whale line (formerly Circle)...:mad::mad:

Now I have to get up specially early to make it to work on time which is not fun because I love sleeping :( still it makes me think twice before cracking open the wine...

  • Hi everyone - just popping in to say 24 for me HB. While you're all talking about weight - I'm going to see Paul McKenna in Birmingham on Saturday - it's his "I can make you thin" weight loss seminar. Can't wait. I really need to stop gaining the same stone (ish) every winter then having to diet it off again every spring! Last year it was Slimming World, the year before it was Weight Watchers so here's hoping I can sort this out once and for all - I just want to get to a shape I'm happy with and stay there with no more yo-yo-ing up and down!

Popping on while AF arrives to say day 13 today AFD and watching the Star Trek DVD

Everyone at work was fed up to the back teeth with things today and I didn't realise it was the that nominated day today I thought it was Monday last week! Funny how it kicked in today!

I am committing to an AF Feb after giving it lots of thought over the weekend and how much alcohol has played on my mind. Time to let go and stop the toxins entering my body and mind. Time to set myself free come Monday 1 Feb it is my quit date for the month ahead

And on that cheery note - back off to Star Trek!
