Have read posts and stickes and for info have just had Notice from G24 for overnight parking. I did not park overnight but on two consecutive days and their number plate recognition system must be at fault.

Knowing I had visited B&Q before visiting Wickes I thought I would check if B&Q had any cameras. Anyway they did not but te lady I spoke to had te same problem as I have and it proved to be a fault with their system.

Anyway thank you for the useful information in this forum.

  • Thanks for your post Coupon-mad,

I am tempted to test their integrity by sending one and only one letter telling them they have made a mistake and I am not going to pay. If that does not work I will ingore all future letters.

    What harm can it do?

Waste of time they don't read them except the ref No, if there is no cheque the monkey hits the print button. Appeal unsuccessful letter is sent.

Save your time and stamp and ignore them.

It should be made illegal to use the words "integrity" and PPC in the same sentence.

You would be better off contacting Wickes. Wickes are actually owned by Travis Perkins PLC and their CEO is Geoff Cooper. You should drop him an email telling him exactly what con artists G24 are. One of the addresses below should get to him :

    geoff.cooper@travisperkinsplc.co.uk
    g.cooper@travisperkinsplc.co.uk
    Geoffrey.cooper@travisperkinsplc.co.uk

Thank you for this thread, I've been using it over the last 2-3 months to calm my husband down after we received a G24 parking notice for overstaying in the Riverside Retail park in Norwich - it covers lots of shops - hobbycraft, Matalan, Currys, Outfit, Poundland, Peacocks, boots, Mamas & Papas, Argos, JJB Sports, Costa, Carphone Warehouse, Next and Clarkes. They don't give you long to do your shopping do they?

We received today the 1st letter from CCS, so are expecting another in about 3 weeks or so. I hope they are not too critical in their investigation of our home situation, it is a bit of a mess but we're in the middle of decorating...

What's your home situation anything to do with this? You are taking these clowns too seriously. They are just bog-standard debt collectors with no special powers.
