I have just received a parking charge notice for parking at Freeport, Braintree. I have received a parking charge for staying 32 mins over the apparantly 'allowable' 6 hours. I thought the whole idea of of a shopping village was so you could spend the day shopping. Can someone put my mind at rest and confirm I should ignore this, as I have found this quite upsetting0

Don't be silly...this is 2011, no-one ever reads the advice before posting; that would involve effort.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -

But not everyone knows forums or forum etiquette , and sometimes people come to particular thread through a search engine and post there.
So instead of sarcasm and treating a poster like idiot try and offer advice!Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Have reached the legal action letter in G24's chain of crap now.
Only trouble is that the deadline for payment was a week before the letter was posted.
As HG Wells is now deep in the cold cold ground I have no way to travel back in time to pay it.
I will just have to suffer the consequences.0 -

What a load of tosh...it doesn't need knowledge of "forums or forum etiquette" to read the previous post to where you intend posting.
Are you seriously suggesting that people land on this page direct from a google and start typing their article without firstly ensuring they are in the right arena [ie the site matches their topic]...why that would be tantamount to calling them thick [imo].
Is it some kind of karma/serendipity posting technique that you think these people are using??
Maybe it would help if the Op could answer coupon mad's question...did they read the article linked by c-mad or not??Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -

You're getting more than a little bit boring now. Rather wasting the letters you typed above why not put them to good use by responding to peoples queries in a generous and polite way ? One wonders why you bother at all considering the venom you use towards some posters. All aboard the Gus Bus !0 -
No, bailiffs would only call if:
1. They actually issue you with a court claim
2. They win
3. You then don't pay within 28 days
there is a 0.00001% chance of any of this happening

In order :
1. Ignore the "ticket"
2. Do not communicate in any way with G24
3. Post what shop you were visiting that uses G24
4. Ignore G24
5. (optional) wind G24 up by reporting them to HMRC, Nominet, Trading Standards and WatchdogAll aboard the Gus Bus !0
