You would be better off contacting Wickes. Wickes are actually owned by Travis Perkins PLC and their CEO is Geoff Cooper. You should drop him an email telling him exactly what con artists G24 are. One of the addresses below should get to him :

geoff.cooper@travisperkinsplc.co.uk
g.cooper@travisperkinsplc.co.uk
Geoffrey.cooper@travisperkinsplc.co.uk
geoffcooper@travisperkinsplc.co.uk
gcooper@travisperkinsplc.co.uk

Well as expected G24 have rejected my "appeal". Fortunetly for me, my car was captured on Local Council CCTV during the time I was supposed to be parked at Wickes. So I have written to Wickes asking for recompence regarding distress caused and costs incurred and I have complained to the DVLA about supplying my personal details based on incorrect information from G24 again asking for recompense. Have not yet paid for the CCTV footage in case Wickes decide to tell G24 to drop the case. I definately will not supply my proof without somebody paying me to do so.

Probably do no good but the more people that complain then ....

Hello everyone. Im new to this forum, so sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Basically I've been sent a PCN from G24 Ltd, when I had parked in one of 'their' car parks. I had no choice of parking there as all other spaces were taken up and I couldn't exactly leave my car on a main road, so I parked there. However I didn't realise that they would be able to get my dad's details from the DVLA, even though I was driving it. I need help on what to do, as my dad is considering to pay it, due to the threat of a debt recovery debt recovery agency. I am an A-Level ICT student, and they would be breaking the Data Protection Act, as they were not given the permission from me or my dad to get our details, so I could possibly write up a good explanation of this fighting my case. I just need help on what to do??

Much Appreciated.

Unfortunately they don't need your Dads, or your permission to get the registered keepers details. they just need reasonable cause, and a electronic link to the DVLA. the reasonable cause being you parked on land they manage, and the DVLA believe they have an action against the keeper.

Tell your Dad to have a read around here and join the hundreds who have successfully ignored G24.

So basically, I've just got to keep ignoring the letters and they will stop? Will they not take me to court for this ? or will I just get off scott free ?

Thanks

Wrote to Wickes customer support telling them a mistake had been made and I could prove it but I wanted them to pay my costs.

They phoned me today and have told G24 to cancel the notice "as an act of goodwill"

Also wrote to DVLA and hopefully they will G24 a bit of bother.

Good luck to the rest of you having problems.
