  • I ordered 200 when my ds went into primary 1 . Monday night i was sewing the same tags onto his clothes to start primary 7 :) They are cute have a little dinasoar on . i still have aboout 50 left . He goes to the highschool next year where i dont think the dinasaurs will go down to well. Well i am rambling now ........
I was going to add if you have more than one child say alex king and sally king . order tags that say alex king sallly ..... that way you just have to cut off either name and wahay you have a tag and have saved some money :) very MSE
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!

    Hi,
You can even go one further and order them to say just your surname - twice - on each tape. (eg. Jackson Jackson)
Then you cut each tape in half and sew just the surname on each garment.
This saves time too as you don't have to unpick Alex Jackson to sew on Sally Jackson...and I have another timesaving tip with these tapes: use a lighted candle to melt the cut ends of the tape to prevent fraying rather than stitching them underneath - it's far less fiddly and therefore quicker!

  • You can buy iron in 'name tags' complete with the pen to write on the tags, in most school clothing shops.

Another place that also sales the tags for children's clothes is Tesco.

    What our mum did,

    "DS initial, surname, DD initial"

So this way it was suitable for either child e.g.

    J Smith K

I use Woven Labels they're a good price and have quick delivery too. I unpicked the one's from my DD's old school clothes to put in her new ones and they look good as new.

    HTH's.
