Yep Im really trying not to force her, but equally I don't want to be the parent who goes in and says sorry she hasn't done this because she didn't want to. Just trying to find that happy medium
you could just say we tried but she got upset so I thought I would leave it for a bit and I will try again in a week or so...
:rotfl:Sally, you have just brought back some memories of OH trying to teach DS maths......so funny......and not funny at the same time...Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

I was one of the poor kids on the block having free school dinners....we had to have a green ticket so the dinner ladies could point us out and make a show of us....
Then they used to force us to finish our dinners including puddings....
I would be the only one left EVERY dinnertime, gagging on semolina or spotted !!!!!!....
I can't eat puddings to this day....and its why I let my son eat jam sandwiches every day for a year....
Yep I had one of those green tickets too which you had to take to the till...I hated it. When I was at primary school they didn't have hot meals and someone used to make sandwiches...I used to get fish paste every day and sit and gag...It was torture and actually makes me want to cry it was SO awful. I never told my mum as I didn't want her to think I was ungrateful and I knew she couldn't do anything about itI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
