but I am learning that that is not always a good thing :D

Yep I had one of those green tickets too which you had to take to the till...I hated it. When I was at primary school they didn't have hot meals and someone used to make sandwiches...I used to get fish paste every day and sit and gag...It was torture and actually makes me want to cry it was SO awful. I never told my mum as I didn't want her to think I was ungrateful and I knew she couldn't do anything about it

Chloe has just had fish paste sandwiches.....I couldn't eat them though.....Sally thats worse than my experience....

Bun - go to the GP. MAKE them give you an appointment. DEMAND to be seen, as you have every right to, under the Patient's Charter

I don't think the patients' charter is applicable anymore is it?

It's the NHS Constitution now I think

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Becky - if changing the strip doesnt work, it could be the little white plug in bitty.... i think it might be a transformer... it can sometimes be that that's gone rather than the tube................

it's only wee, take the old one out, it should just pull out, and take it to the shop... easier than trying to lug a tube on your run!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

linda, isn't it the same sort of thing ; you have the right to be treated or seen by someone, and isn't it within 48 hours if it's an emergency or at any time. Think this would fit in the emergency slot Bun

becks n maz, think it is the transformer (the little white thing at the end of a strip tube) Should do them in any diy shop, just check the thingum to make sure it won't blow
